OAU ASPIRANTS: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE UPCOMING OAU P-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

Having followed the proceeding of the Covid-19 and its acquaintance, ASUU Strike, the doubts of all aspirant of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife concerning the Post UTME examination have been cleared. Therefore, OAU has released its new date for Post UTME screening exercise. The exercise which is to hold between 27th February 2021 and 6th March, is conducted for prospective students of the University and here are a few points to note about the upcoming PUTME;

CANDIDATES THAT ARE ELIGIBLE

. Candidates who made the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their First Choice Institution in the 2020/2021 UTME and scored 200 and above

. Candidates must possess five (5) credit pass including English Language at not more than two (2) sittings.

. OAU will not consider candidates with outstanding “Awaiting Results” at the end of the Post UTME Screening Exercise.

. DE Students should ensure that their transcript is forwarded by the Awarding Institution to the Admission Office, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife for DE Admission processing.

. Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME screening will not be considered for admission.

SCREENING REQUIREMENTS

The minimum entry requirements is a General Certificate of Education (or equivalent) with Credit passes in at least five subjects chosen from a list approved from time to time by Senate provided that in each case all the five subjects are taken and passed at not more than two sittings.

. One of the passes shall be a pass at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in English Language.

. A pass in the General Paper of the Higher School Certificate is regarded as equivalent to a credit pass in English Language at ‘O’ Level.

. Except in the cases of candidate for admission to the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Law, and for the Bachelor of Arts in Education in the Faculty of Education, one of the credit passes shall be a pass at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in Mathematics.

HOW TO APPLY


Applicants should note that the screening fee is N2,000

Step 1: Visit admissions.oauife.edu.ng

Step 2: Log on to the site with your Registration Number as Username and your Surname as Password.

Step 3: Fill the biodata form and click continue.

Step 4: Obtain an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) from this site only, and use it to make payment online or at any commercial bank.

Step 5: Once payment is accepted, the system logs out and you can now re-login again.

Step 6: Candidates should print screening slips (it contains actual dates and venues of each candidate).
The slips can be printed on https://admissions.oauife.edu.ng from 14th February 2021 (you have to log in to your profile page to print your screening slip)

NOTE:
. The exercise is to hold between 27th February and 3rd March 2021 at the Ile lfe centres. The Ile lfe centres includes OAU Campus and Moro Campus.

. The exercise will hold in Abuja on 6th March 2021 at the JAMB CBT centre,Bwari, Abuja.

. Get to the venue in time, advisably an hour before exercise commences and dress responsibly.

. Go to the exam venue with your exam slip.

. Comply with COVID 19 protocols as recommended by NCDC.

. Beware of scammers imposting as school officials.

. Be updated from only the OAU Screening Committee.
