Coronavirus cases are on the rise again, thanks to the delta variant after declining steeply for six months
To address the situation, the school management released a circular on the new proceedings towards curbing it.
It goes thus;
THIRD WAVE OF COVID-19 COMPULSORY ADHERENCE TO ALL COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
The University Community is hereby informed that the Delta Variant of COVID-19, a highly contagious strain, has been detected across the country.
Sequel to the above, the University Management implores members of the University Community to ensure strict adherence to all COVID-19 safety measures and be on guard in other to prevent infection within the Community
All members of the Community are reminded of the following preventive measures as advised by Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC)
> Proper use of masks in public places,
> Washing of hands or use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers,
>Social distancing
By a copy of this release, the Security Unit is being requested to ensure strict compliance to the COVID 19 Protocols within the University Community
