When it comes to dancing, OAU Student are not left out, even though our lives evolve around book. Man cannot kill himself, at least when book becomes too draining, we do something else. We’ve managed to create a lot of unique dancing moves that have gone mainstream and attracted a lot of people even OAU students are shocked at times.
Some OAU student are really good dancers, they understand the act of dancing and can make you drool as you watch them. Some of them are professionals, some are just musicians with really good footwork.

1. Daniel Jeremiah Emeka
Jeremiah popularly known as Dance Jerry Dance is a part 5 student of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering. He started his dancing professionally when he was 16, even though he had always had that talent in him. He got his inspiration to dance at age 11, after seeing a group dance, the zeal to dance grew and dancing became his passion.
2. Tunji-Ajayi Demilade
Demilade Popularly known as Kingfeet is a 300 level student of Dramatic Arts. He started dancing because he loves dancing. He specifically said dancing is his gift. He has danced in several competitions and always tops the list. His dance category is all. I can do all the of dances as long as I’m taught, said Demilade.
3. Hollar Rabiu Jnr
Hollar known as Hollar Reeks, is a Part-Time Marlian and part 3 student of Zoology. Hollar started dancing when he was a kid but he officially became a dancer 2017 after uploading short dancing clips to his social media accounts. Ever since, he discovered that he could dance. Hollar Reeks said: I started working on my skills so I could improve. He got the name Part Time Marlian which simply means a part-time student and a part-time entertainer. He his a lover of chess, and table tennis.
4. Akinbiola Daniel Akinkunmi
Daniel Populary known as HaykayBee is a part 2 English student, who has been dancing ever since he was a child. Dancing to him is like breathing, something he literally cannot live without. He is also an Afro dancer, leg work major and loves dancing more than anything. He is a part of OAU school swimming team and involves himself in numerous sports.
5. Kupoluyi Oluwatimi
Oluwatimi popularly known as Timi k is a part 2 student of Electrics and electrical engineering. Timi k has always loved dancing right from his childhood days, but never thought of it as a profession or a skill, he felt it was normal to dance. Then in his senior year in college, he was given a school performance and it was really loud. It was then he realized dance was everything. He has performed in many shows on OAU campus. His passion for dancing pushed him to make it his profession.
6. Olubowale Oluwadamilola
Oluwadamilola who is populary known as Damidance is a part 2 Animal Science student, She started dancing since she was a kid and started with “Ballet”. The reason she started and why she is still dancing is because it has become her passion, it’s also something she is really good at, It’s also one of the things that makes her unique and it’s something she sees a future with.
7. Abayomi Ibukunoluwa
Ibukun popularly know as Psycho is a part 2 Foreign languages student. She started dancing since she was in primary school, during dance competitions. She started because it was something she enjoyed doing, even at times when she doesn’t emerge as winner of any competition. The passion is what kept her moving.
8. Oyediran Ifedolapo
Who is populary known as Tiannah is a part 2 Dramatic Arts student. She was a dancer before she gained admission into the department of dramatic art but she never really took it serious. Dramatic arts opened her eyes to creative dance steps, in both contemporary and traditional, she got inspired to dance and practice more.
9. Oladayo Olanipekun
Oladayo popularly known as Dayo is a part 3 nursing student. She started dancing at a younger age and enjoyed it a lot. She is associated with the spirit of David Gospel dance club(popularly know as SOD)and also luminux Dance factory. She is a lover of contemporary dance and also loves jazz funk because it’s fun, fierce and sexy. She sees Dancing as an Artistic passions and hoping to have her own dance studio and dream school.
