The ASUU strike protest that almost all Federal Universities in Nigeria have been involved in, is being disturbed by the Nigerian Forces. It should be recalled that the Nigerian Army disrupted the Akure Protest few days ago and there has been reports of more disturbances at many protesting grounds.

Today at Ile-Ife, police officers with guns were seen everywhere around campus gate and OUI which is the location for the protest.
It is said that the Governor of Osun state, Mr Gboyega Oyetola will be visiting Enuwa in Ile-Ife today that is why police officers have been everywhere as the route to get to Ile-Ife will definitely be blocked by protesters.
There has been no shooting so far, just threats by the police officers and disagreement with the students.
