Pre degree as the name implies, is a degree earned before the university’s degree though not compulsory for every one. Any student who attends the pre degree college at OAU have to write JAMB, write the program’s examination & passed. The classes spans between 9 to 10months, similar to the first year in the university as several classes have to be undergone before writing the exam & the fee is between 250,000 to 300,000.

Students who go through this process have good chances of gaining admission into OAU provided such person scores the cut off mark required for the course. A course different from the chosen one is usually given if a student scores below the required mark.
