Admission into OAUTHC Schools of Nursing, Midwifery and Preoperative Nursing for the year 2022/2023 is now open, applications have been put up for qualified candidates for seeking admission into the following Nursing programmes of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital’s Complex, Ile-Ife:
1. National Diploma (ND) in Nursing.
Qualifications:
a. Applicants must possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO OR NABTEB, with 5 credits in not more than two sittings in the following subjects: English language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
b. Candidate(s) presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it other results.
c. Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old on admission.
d. Applicants must have a 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result with a minimum of 150 mark in the following subjects( compulsory): English language, Chemistry,Physics and Biology.
e. Applicants are advised to choose OAUTHC School of Nursing, Ile-Ife as their first choice of institutions.

Note that: The OAUTHC School of Nursing both at Ile-Ife and Ilesa respectively have been accredited by the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) to run National Diploma ( ND) in Nursing.
2. POST BASIC GENERAL NURSING.
Qualifications:
a. Applicants must possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE with 5 credits (on not more than two sittings in English language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
b. Be a registered mid-wife with the Nursing and Midwifery council of Nigeria.
c. Candidates presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with other result.
3. POST BASIC MID-WIFERY
Qualifications:
a. Applicants must possess WAEC,SSCE/GCE with 5 credits (in not more than two sittings in English language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
b. Posess registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria,as a registered nurse.
c. Candidates presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with other result.

4. POST BASIC PREOPERATIVE NURSING.
Qualifications:
a. Applicants must possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE with 5 credits (in not more than two sittings in English language, Mathematics,Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
b. Posess registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria,as a registered nurse.
c. Candidates presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with other results.
The closing date for all forms is Thursday, 18th day of August 2022.
The Post-Utme screening exercise (Computer Based Test) had been scheduled to hold between Tuesday, 23rd and Wednesday, 24th August 2022 and following after the CBT, will be Oral Interview (physical presentation) for candidate that passed the Post-Utme screening.
