Nigerians have recently popularized the new oil well called tech. “Tech bros” as they’re fondly called have sprung up left and right to eat from the cake. However, people have began to compare the pay of tech bros to that of professional footballers so we asked 7 students to compare tech money to football money and we got some interesting replies.
Everyone is getting into tech because it’s trending but only elemi loma last o. Tech bros who just want the money and get tired will be laptop owners. Football is another dimension
It requires passion, skill, talent, dedication and the likes
Everyone has passion for football but tech is mostly because of the money. Laslas, person gats find means to earn for this Nigeria and football is not the way here.
How can anybody choose football money over tech when they’re seeing the likes of Elon musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and co. Tech money is GOATed abeg. Way clear.
Simple question is making me ask is who’s the richest tech person and who’s the richest footballer. Boom. Problem solved.
Football money ofcourse. The average footballer is richer than the average tech bro. No cap.
Footballers don’t risk their own money to get paid. Tech bros can’t just wait without investing and expect money every week. Ko po (possible)! Footballers no need invest before raba go drop. Tech bro go first invest for wetin fit flop at the end omo.
Football money is great but tech money hits harder. Football money is like winning lottery but tech money is winning it consecutively. Tech money will hit you and you can still stay under the radar. No unwanted attention.
It is safe to say that professional footballers get paid a lot but when it comes to comparing their pay checks to that of tech bros, the ‘hugeness’ of the pay is usually questioned especially when comparing the top earners in both categories.
Football money is what I’m going for and it’s the heavier.
