Please note: Polytechnics in Nigeria offer National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programs, which run for five years, including a one-year internship. Students can choose to register for the ND alone, which lasts for two years and then proceed to a university as a direct entry student.
1) LAGOS POLYTECHNIC(LASPOTECH)
Lagos Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) is a state university located in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. Established in 1978, it is one of the rapidly growing polytechnics in Nigeria, with over 50,000 students in eight faculties and various specialization departments. 2) KADUNA POLYTECHNIC

3) FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC OKO
Federal Polytechnic Oko is a federal polytechnic ranked among the top ten and located in Oko town, Anambra State, Nigeria. Established in 1979, it was once a college of arts and science before being upgraded to a polytechnic. The polytechnic is preferred in eastern Nigeria and has about 30,000 students, over 30 courses, different departments, and three campuses.
4) IMO STATE POLYTECHNIC
Imo State Polytechnic is a state-owned polytechnic in Nigeria that is considered one of the best. It is located in Umuagwo, Imo State, Nigeria. Established in 1987 as Michael Okpara College of Agriculture, it became a polytechnic in 2007. The Polytechnic has over 10,000 students and offers over 30 courses.
5) OSUN STATE POLYTECHNIC
Osun State Polytechnic is a state-owned polytechnic in Nigeria rated as one of the best. It was established in 1992 in Iree, Osun State. 7) FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, NEKEDE
Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, is a federal polytechnic highly ranked by students all over Nigeria. It is located in Nekede, Imo State, and is popular among the Ibo people. The Polytechnic was established in 1978, formerly called the College of Technology, and became a federal polytechnic in 1993.The school has over 10,000 students and places emphasis on science, engineering, and technology.
8) AUCHI POLYTECHNIC
Auchi Polytechnic is a leading polytechnic in Nigeria and is regarded as one of the oldest. It was established in 1963-1964 and is located in Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria. The Polytechnic has over 10,000 students and is popular for its research and development activities for the growth and development of students and the community.
9) YABA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY, YABA
Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, is one of the top 10 federal polytechnics present in Nigeria. Established in 1947, it is one of the oldest institutions of learning in the country. The college is located in Agege, Lagos State, Nigeria, and has over 16,000 students in various departments and courses.
