OAU Fixes Date for Bed Space Balloting for Final Year Students for 2022/2023 Session

The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has announced an important update for the incoming final-year students regarding the bed space allocation for the upcoming 2022/2023 session. In an effort to streamline the process and ensure fairness, the university has fixed a specific date for bed space balloting. This announcement aims to inform and prepare final-year students for the upcoming allocation procedure.

According to the notification released by the university, the bed space request process for final year students is scheduled to take place on Monday, 26th June, 2023, at exactly 7.00pm. This fixed date and time will provide an equal opportunity for all final-year students to secure their preferred accommodation within the university’s hostels.

The university emphasizes that the bed space allocation will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, it is crucial for final-year students to take prompt action and participate in the balloting process. As bed spaces are limited, early participation will greatly increase the chances of securing a preferred choice.

To facilitate the bed space request process, OAU has introduced an E-portal system. Final year students are required to log in to the E-portal during the specified date and time to ballot for the available bed spaces. This online platform has been implemented to ensure efficiency and accessibility for all students.

It is important for final year students to mark their calendars and make necessary preparations ahead of the fixed date. By logging in to the E-portal promptly, students can take advantage of the opportunity to select their preferred accommodation before others.

All final year students are urged to take note of the fixed date, Monday, 26th June, 2023, at 7.00pm, and login to the E-portal promptly to ballot for their preferred bed spaces.

Remember, early participation is key, so mark your calendars and prepare to secure your bed space at OAU.
