Failed OAU Post-UTME ? Here are 4 ways to get admitted into Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) without Post -UTME

Share

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) released the 2022/2023 BATCH B POST-UTME result last week, several calls have been placed to IOI from students who didn’t meet the required screening point, therefore, are not eligible for admission.

According to the OAU, “Candidates Must Score A Minimum Of 25 out of 50 In The POST-UTME Screening Score In Order To Be Considered For Admission” if you see the red sign on your result slip, please be aware that you are not eligible for admission in the 2022/2023 Batch B. There’s no action you can take to change this, so exercise caution regarding scammers who may promise to alter it for a fee; such claims are unfounded.

Are you worried about the next line of action now that you are not eligible for admission? Or you are probably worrying that you scored high but it’s not enough for your desired course compared to past cut-off marks, then this is for you.

Depression is not the way out of this neither is shedding tears is the solution. If  OAU has jammed you, do not worry, there is a remedy and that’s why I am writing to you on the best four ways to get admitted into OAU without POST-UTME.

1. Pre-degree

OAU pre degree Application

Pre-degree as the name implies is a degree earned before the university’s degree though not compulsory for everyone. Any student who attends the pre-degree college at OAU has to write JAMB, write the program’s examination & pass. The classes span between 9 to 10 months, similar to the first year in the university as several classes have to be undergone before writing the exam & the fee is between 250,000 to 300,000.

Over the years, research has shown that students who go through this process have higher chances of being admitted into OAU provided such a person scores the cut-off mark required for the course. Oftentimes, If as a student you don’t meet the required mark, you will be given a course different from your choice, which you may decide to change later. But one thing is certain, it is easier to get admitted to OAU through OAU pre-degree, click here to Reach out to us today to take OAU pre-degree form

2. JUPEB

OAU Jupeb

JUPEB A’levels allow you to be admitted directly to the second year(200-level) of any course in OAU. This is a program that spans the duration of 9 to 10 months (equal to two semesters in tertiary education) In order to gain admission with JUPEB, you need to attend its classes, such that you must have gained experience about those things you were supposed to be taught if you undergo your first year (100 level).

This can also save you the stress of ASUU Strike in your first year. If you enroll for JUPEB now, you will definitely outrun your mate as long as you are ready to beat the varying cut-off marks (this depends on the course you wish to study). The fee ranges from 230,000 to 260,000. You don’t have to take this programme at OAU or around OAU for it to be accepted.

3. Distance learning

The OAU distance learning center is where you can learn (be lectured as a university student using the usual duration for the course) and have your desired result (B.Sc, PhD.) in the comfort of your home regardless of the distance. All you need to be accepted for this program is a good phone or laptop, an internet connection & the fee, of course, it is not free. You don’t have anything to miss out on, as you can have a side job & run this program.

4.IJMB

IJMB(Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination) is a Federal Government certified examination body, charged with the responsibility of conducting and processing direct entry admissions programme into 200 level in other Universities. Although OAU does not recognize IJMB, several other federal universities, such as the University of Ilorin, University of Ibadan, and many more, do accept it. You have the option to reconsider your university choice and select one of these institutions if you wish.e (9) months which is similar to a session of two semesters in a tertiary academic institution. The price range for this program is between 180,000 & 250,000naira. This degree is similar to JUPEB so the certificate doesn’t expire in a year like JAMB’s.

With these five things listed here, you don’t need to be worried because you had less than 200 in your JAMB exam, rather you should be on the lookout for the release of forms of the programs listed above.

5. Re-write JAMB

Since JAMB is an exam written annually, you can re-write the exam but make sure you maximize your time, to either learn a skill or start a business if you have any, as this will help you prevent SAPA once you get admitted. This time, you have to work harder than you have done so that you can reach the cut-off upon your next trial. it is never too late, so brace up yourself, stop crying or being depressed, and face this challenge. This is a phase and it would surely pass with adequate preparation for the next post UTME exam. We believe in you and we are rooting for you!

Failing POST – UTME isn’t the end of the world, Don’t Give UP ! Keep trying . For further help and consultancy, you can reach out to Inside OAU Innovations via +2347087679924
