OAU Reopens Portal for Late Course Registration

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)  has reopened its E-portal for late course registration, providing an opportunity for students who have encountered difficulties in registering their courses for various reasons. This serves as a final chance for affected students to complete their course registration. It is important to note that late course registration incurs a penalty fee of 5000 naira.

How to get started with OAU Late Course Registration on E-portal

  1. Log in to your student portal using the following link: https://eportal.oauife.edu.ng/undergraduatetasks.php#
  2. Navigate to the ‘Payment Activities’ section.
  3. Select ‘Payment via Remitta‘ option.
  4. Under payment type , select “Late Registration”
  5. Follow the prompts to make a payment of 5350 naira via Remitta.
  6. Once the payment is completed, proceed to ‘Register Courses‘ section.

If you have recently paid your school fees and still encounter a message prompting you to ‘Pay up outstanding fee,‘ follow these additional steps:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Reports’ section.
  2. Click on ‘Clearance Certificate‘ to download the document.
  3. Return to the course registration page and attempt to register your courses again , you should be able to do perfectly .

Late registration is expected to remain open for a brief period, perhaps two weeks. It is strongly advised that you make every effort to register your courses before this deadline. Once late registration closes, it will become significantly challenging to complete your course registration. Remember, failure to register for courses will result in being ineligible to sit for exams
